I was born in the Brainerd Lakes Area and have lived here for over 60 years. After a short move to the Twin Cities for a few years, I missed the people and the beauty of the Brainerd Lakes area and I moved back.
I am happily married and we are blessed with 5 children and 7 grandchildren; they are one of the greatest joys in our life.
I have been fortunate to have worked, lived and been involved throughout the many communities of the Brainerd Lakes area. I was the director for the Chamber of Commerce in Crosslake, Pequot Lakes and Brainerd for 14 years, a career that connected me to each community and the people that live there.
I enjoy spending time on our lakes, biking, traveling, strength training, and my favorite activity is meeting new people.
One of my greatest passions is to eliminate poverty housing! I have worked with the Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity for 4 years and the work has changed my life. I have seen first hand the impact of how a home can change a family's life; a safe, decent and affordable home brings hope, strength and courage Home, it is more than a building, it's the place where life is lived and dreams are built and I want to help you build your dreams.
